Frequently Asked Booking Questions:

How much does it cost? Our shows start at $150 dollars for a performance lasting 45 minutes to an hour.  Please contact us for a quote.  Factors that may affect cost include the size of the event, audience or venue (sometimes extra equipment is needed), significant travel requirements, and accommodation of any special requests you might have.

How many of you will show up at my door? We can only do shows if at least three members can commit their time (two-man shows are rarely funny). We prefer a performance group of three to four improvisers, since parties are usually limited in terms of space. Only our seasoned players are involved in private shows, and if we can't reach our requisite three-player minimum, we must regrettably turn down the offer, as it's unfair to both your event and our improvisers if we can't give you the best performance possible.

How long will you stick around? We usually arrive fifteen to twenty minutes before the designated show time to warm-up and take stock of the stage, hopefully in a separated area within the venue. We do our performance, much hilarity ensues, and afterwards, time and situation permitting, we take a few moments to speak with anyone who has questions or would like our contact information! Finally we depart, hopefully leaving your faces sore for laughter.

Can I choose some games? Definitely! If you've seen our shows and have some favourites, we'd be more than happy to include them. We create a new set-list of games for every event, and always confirm it with you before the show. Together, we can incorporate themes (such as your son's pirate party) or level of involvement (at a silent monk retreat, for instance, we may not include too many audience participation games).

Can I pick which of you gets invited to my party? You can request players, but it very much depends on their availability. That said, I'm sure they'll be flattered you asked! (And the others will each shed a single tear.)

So, when should I give you guys a call? The sooner the better. The less lead time we have, the harder it will be to find available performers. However, we will always do our best to find people, even if it's two days before.

Anything else I should think about? One thing to remember is that performances at parties and events always work best if we're not competing with engrossing dinner conversation, a band rocking out, or the desert table line-up. Therefore, ask yourself: “What is the best way for my fine group of friends/associates/people to enjoy forty-five minutes of improvised comedy without distracting themselves, each other, or the performers?” It's not just rhetorical, it's also good advice.
